Mrs. Elena Garcia founder and first President of the Sociedad Cultural Hispanoamericana (1975-1977), (1980-1981), (1986-1988).

Mrs. Garcia was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and was a school teacher for many years, but decided to enter  the cosmetology profession and succesfully ran three beauty shops in Killeen.

After retirement, she also became a realtor and opened her own real estate offce.

Mrs. Garcia is an active member and founder of many organizations.  She is the recipient of many awards from the City of Killeen to include Woman of the Year.  She is still active in St. Joseph's Church organizations and still an active member of the Sociedad Cultural Hispanoamericana.

Mrs. Martinez is a retired Certified Public Accountant, Texas Licence #37327.  She was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico and has been living in Killeen since 1970.

Mr. Martinez was born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico.  He retired from the U. S. Army in 1973, then became a realtor and owner of Royalty Real Estate in Killeen.
