The Sociedad Cultural Hispanoamericana se fundó en 1975 con la misión de promover la cultura hispana y crear un mejor entendimiento entre los diversos grupos culturales que residen en Killeen, por medio del intercambio de ideas a través de programas artísticos, educativos y culturales.  En 1988 esta organización fue reconocida  bajo el Código 501 (C) (3) del Internal Revenue Service como una sociedad con fines no lucrativos.  Nuestro propósito es compartir nuestra cultura con personas de otros países para ayudar a eliminar las barreras étnicas y culturales mediante programas artísticos-culturales.

What We Do

The Sociedad Cultural Hispanoamericana is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 with the mission to promote the arts and culture of hispanics and foster a greater understanding among the diverse cultural groups living in Killeen by means of interchanging of ideas through educational and cultural programs.  In 1988 our society became  a tax-exempt organization under the Code 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service.  Our purpose is to share the hispanic art and culture with other groups to help bridge ethnic and cultural obstacles through affordable artistic programs.
